In
this post, I'm going to share my personal experience with Google Adsense. I
will show you how, I have doubled my Adsense earnings by making some little
changes in blog and Adsense account. Anybody can increase their Adsense
earnings up to 200 percent. There are some little things and strategies
missed by bloggers and as a result, they have to face very low CTR and CPC
rate. To earn a bigger in Google Adsense, you should have Higher CPC with low
CTR or Low CPC with higher CTR. But normally, it has been seen that these
things happen rarely with Adsense publishers. I was also one of them, who had
been frustrated with low earnings of Adsense. Even, I have Good impressions on
Adsense Ads, but still I was not able to earn, what I was deserving.
I
did lots of experiments and with Adsense account to increase my Adsense
earnings. Few days ago I had posted an article about how
to increase Adsense CTR, which was awesome.
But with CTR, we should also have to work on some other things to increase our
CPC rates and targeting Ads. Also sometimes, disabling Interest-based Ads into
lower CTR, but sometimes gives a fantastic increase in earnings. You should
take an experiment with your blog once to check is disabling Interest-based Ads
worth to you or not? But we have no guarantee of permanent higher CTR by
disabling Interest-based Ads from Google
Adsense account. We must have to
follow and do some urgent changes, to double our earnings. So, now give a look
at my strategies, which I used and got an unbelievable change in my Adsense
earnings.
I am mentioning here 5 crucial steps needed to improve Adsense earnings
Tip #1. Ads Placement
Ads placement for Adsense publishers is a key factor in Adsense earnings. Ads should look natural. Best places to place Ads on your are
Top Header 728x90 (Text/Image)
Middle of posts (Responsive) (Text/Image Ads)
Below title (Responsive) (Text/Image Ads)
Sidebar (300x200) (Text Media Ads)
Sidebar (336x280) (Text Ads only)
Above Comment (722x90) (Text/Image Ads)
Here, I have mentioned Six best places to put your Adsense code, but don't post more than 3 Ads on a page. If you do so, you are violating their TOS and may results in suspension of publisher account. Tex/Media Ads are also known as Rich media Ads, so don't be confused in these terms.

Tip #2. Block Low Paying Advertisers
There are many advertisers which pay very little CPC. There used to be a site showing the Adsense ad “black list”, but if you have compiled a list of your own or you know of any site with very poor performance, you can block that advertiser’s URL. I have done it myself, and it improved my revenue by 10% in one week’s time. You can also block your competitor’s ads from displaying on your site.

#3. Activate Adsense for Search
Adsense for Search not only helps you monetize, but
it also helps with user navigation. I know, most you will know about Google
Adsense for search, but it’s not bad to let people know who don’t know that
they are losing a handsome amount of money from their search results. I
recommend you to go through this guide to
use Adsense for search by Harsh Agarwal.
Tip
#4. Text/Image Ads
Enabling your
ad units to display both text and image/rich media ad types, increases the
number of ads competing to appear on your site. More advertisers in the ad
auction drive higher bids and more revenue for you. On average, publishers
see a 59% increase in eCPM earnings when they make these recommended changes.
If you’re not already using both, then it’s as simple as going into the ‘My
ads’ tab, and clicking on ‘Edit ad type’, next to the ad in the list. This will
increase the cost per click, so even if you’re not improving the number of
clicks that your website is getting, you’ll still make more money.
Tip
#5. Make your blog responsive
Responsive
blog or website is very important for AdSense publishers. It becomes more
user-friendly with faster loading speed. If you are the older reader of
this blog, then you might know that last week we had totally changed the
template and design of Cutcopie.
Now it is more fast loading and user friendly. The number of people using
different devices to browse the internet is increasing day by day and as an
Adsense publisher you cannot ignore it. If you want to stay in sync with the
latest trends in web design but also increase your Adsense earnings by
utilizing your existing content then going responsive is your best option. If
your blog is responsive then Advertisers will also take keen interest to
showing their Ads on your blog and you will be more benefitted from
Adsense earnings.
